Music at Hollowforth - 13 July 2024
Welcome to Hollowforth.
Music at Hollowforth is a not for profit event at Hollowforth Hall.
This year, the event is in association with The Rotary Club of Preston and will raise money for the Neuro-Rehab Unit at Royal Preston Hospital, Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline and other charities.
A good time for a good cause.
Bring a Picnic
Find a spot in the beautiful gardens at Hollowforth to enjoy your picnic and settle in for the evening. Then get comfortable and enjoy an evening of music and fireworks at Hollowforth.
Spaces in the garden are available on a first-come basis. If you are bringing a gazebo, you are welcome to set it up from 14.00 on Friday 12 July 2024.
Those guests bringing a picnic rug or camping chairs typically sit a few metres in front of the gazebos to ensure everyone has a good view.
Music
We are lucky to be supported by The East Lancashire Concert Band. They will play a mixture of Proms classics and Music from the Movies.
We limit tickets to ensure everyone can get a good view of the band. Of course, if you prefer to sit further away and let the music drift across the garden, that is fine too.
Fireworks
As the band plays its finale, enjoy a spectacular firework display as the sky is lit up above Hollowforth. The fireworks can be heard up to 4 miles away, including at the Royal Preston Hospital, where 1/2 of the funds raised at this event will be donated.
